Dr. Ashlyn is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced training in pelvic floor therapy and women’s health, passionate about helping people better understand their bodies, find lasting relief from symptoms, and feel strong and confident in movement. Her warm, approachable style helps patients feel comfortable from the start, while her whole-body approach looks beyond symptoms to uncover what may actually be driving them.
Ashlyn’s passion for movement began as a competitive dancer, where navigating injuries and rehabilitation firsthand inspired her to pursue physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wayne State University. With a strong background in orthopedic care, she loves working with patients across the lifespan, with a particular passion for young athletes, dancers, runners, and women navigating pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.
Ashlyn brings her expertise far beyond the treatment room. She sees patients at both our Wyandotte and New Boston locations, teaches a handful of group fitness classes at The Mill, is one of our three Heroboard Pilates certified instructors, and is actively involved in community outreach. You can often find her popping up at local dance studios to help young dancers build strength, improve performance, and prevent injury, as well as leading workshops designed to help runners better understand and support their bodies.
Whether she's helping a new mom return to exercise, an athlete get back to the sport they love, or someone finally understand the why behind symptoms they've dealt with for years, Ashlyn's goal is the same: to help people feel knowledgeable, capable, and confident in their bodies.
