Kennedy is a fitness instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition from Central Michigan University, where she is currently completing her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Alongside her graduate studies, Kennedy serves as a graduate assistant teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in exercise physiology, fitness assessment, and program design. She is also involved in exercise physiology research exploring how the human body responds to prolonged exercise and heat.

With a lifelong background in dance, Kennedy brings a natural love for movement and the bubbly, contagious energy our community knows her for. She loves blending her education in human performance with a coaching style that makes challenging yourself feel approachable and genuinely fun.

At the heart of Kennedy’s coaching philosophy is something she experienced herself: having someone believe in you before you fully believe in yourself. She strives to be that person for others, creating a space where it feels safe to try, grow, and discover just how strong and capable you already are.

While Kennedy isn’t regularly on The Mill schedule as she finishes her Master’s degree at CMU, she remains a big part of our team, when she is covering class you can count on plenty of energy, encouragement, and a whole lot of fun.
