Mrs. Maddie is a recreational therapist, educator, and mom of two with a passion for helping children learn, move, connect, and grow through play. She earned her degree in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Dance from Eastern Michigan University and brings more than 10 years of experience working with children and adults of all abilities.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Maddie has worked across mental health, nonprofit, recreation, dance, and group fitness settings, giving her a unique understanding of how movement, play, creativity, and connection support whole-child development. As a mom herself, she also understands how important it is for parents to have opportunities to prioritize their own health while knowing their little ones are engaged and supported nearby.

At The Mill, Mrs. Maddie serves as the Director of Wonder Blossoms, where she develops and leads our children's movement, play, and enrichment programming. She creates thoughtful, age-appropriate experiences designed to encourage gross motor development, confidence, creativity, social-emotional growth, and plenty of fun.

Her goal is simple: to create a place where children feel safe to explore and be themselves, parents feel supported, and families can truly blossom together as part of The Mill community.
