Miss Sydney is an elementary educator with a passion for helping little ones learn, build confidence, and discover the world through movement, creativity, and play. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Comprehensive endorsement from Eastern Michigan University and holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
By day, Miss Sydney is a first grade teacher, where she loves creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Her own love for movement began at a young age and eventually led her to cheer at Eastern Michigan University for five years, where she was part of the 2021 NCAA National Championship team. She has also coached high school cheerleading and loves helping children and young adults recognize just how capable they are.
At The Mill, Miss Sydney brings together her expertise in early childhood education and her love for movement as a Wonder Blossoms educator. Through sensory play, music, creative activities, and movement, she helps create an enriching experience where every child can explore, make friends, build confidence, and have plenty of fun along the way.
Nothing makes Miss Sydney happier than watching little ones light up as they learn something new, and she loves getting to help each of our youngest members blossom in their own unique way.
